Wednesday Week at Madame Wong's, Chinatown, Los Angeles

Not only did The Police play at the unlikely Madame Wong's gritty Chinatown club, but so did Wednesday Week (v.6). Wong's Chinatown was a mainstay of the LA club scene for years, with the Westside's Madame Wong's West appealing to a more upscale/college-type crowd. Today, Wong's West has been torn down and Chinatown no longer books local (or out-of-town, for that matter) rock bands. Click on the thumbnail for a larger view.
